More videos

Here are a couple more videos.
First, Melanie saw me adjusting Brittany, and decided that she wanted a turn. She loves laying on the table and having us palpate her back, so she makes sure that any time we go downstairs, she gets about 5 turns on the table. If you listen to when Brittany asks if she wants another turn, you can hear her whisper "yeah." She has started whispering everything for some reason.

The second is in our back yard. The older kids were going down this hill in these dump trucks. Melanie saw them do it and insisted on having a turn also. She loved it.

Quick video

Here is a quick video of Melanie at the motorcycle shop. She was really scared to get on the bike, but then once she was on it, she changed her mind. We have a tough time knowing if she wanted to stay on or not. You might need to turn it up to hear anything, and sorry about the quality since it was shot with my phone.

more pictures

Here are a couple of new pictures for your viewing pleasure. Melanie loves puddles, and will go find the only puddle in the entire area and sit right in the middle of it. The other kids think she is weird, and the other parents think we are crazy for letting her do it. Oh well.

Here is a picture of her trying on Brittany's sunglasses.

More flood pictures

Here are some flood pictures that I took. Keep in mind that this is 3 days after the river crested.
First is a random house/mailbox picture.

Next is a flooded car, but that car is on the near side of the road, the road is actually about 4 feet underwater.

Lastly, this is part of downtown. The stoplights you can see aren't the road that is closest to the river, they are on a road that is one road into downtown. Some areas are pretty soaked, but they built a lot of berms and prevented most damage to the businesses downtown.
